2017 March 7 Amy here
I finally made the breakthrough: watercolour paints, watercolour pencils, and acrylic paints, at last!
It felt like I made a little progress this time as I managed to colour her hair with watercolours and just a little pencil detail. I used Derwent Inktense watercolour pencils to draw her face and details onto Fabriano watercolour paper. I used my Winsor and Newton watercolour half pan paints for her hair and the background (I have used most of my half pan colours, the pink and red are all gone, but I still have some odd shades of blue, green, orange and yellow) lol!
This is Faith. I shared on my Instagram account.
I have been sharing my art on my Instagram account, you can see that here. I am trying to keep my art and my craft separate on the main part but I would like to keep up to date with that here so that you can see if you want and I can check my progress easily.
I used a drawing pencil to draw the flowers then Spectrum Noir AquaTints to colour the page. Once dry I used Colorista pencils and a chalk pencil to add details and texture to the flowers (A5).
